Fall Conclave

Fall Conclave is our largest lodge event during the year. At this conclave, we perform many service projects around camp, especially projects that help prepare Ingersoll Scout Reservation for the winter camping season, and general maintenance work. This year (2012!), we will also be setting up for the Section C-3B Conclave that will be taking place at Ingersoll Scout Reservation on September 28-30.

Ordeal Information

Congratulations on being elected as a candidate for the Order of the Arrow! The Wenasa Quenhotan Lodge looks forward to inducting you as the newest brother of our Lodge. For instructions, please see "Ordeal Candidate Information" on the registration form. Also, please visit the Ordeal info page, and email chief@wq23.org with any questions. Ordeal members MUST be at the Trailblazer Pavillion (bottom of Dining Hall hill) by 8pm Friday night!

Brotherhood Information

If you have been an Ordeal member for at least 10 months (even if you haven't been active in awhile) you should do your Brotherhood! This rewarding experience seals your membership in the lodge and allows you to reflect about your Ordeal experience and find new ways of committing yourself to the Scout Oath and Law. Officer Elections

Lodge Officer elections take place at this weekend, as well. Following dinner, the youth of our lodge will elect the new Lodge Chief and Vice Chiefs of Program, Communication, and Administration. After lodge elections, members will divide into their chapters and elect the new Chapter Chief, Vice-Chief, and Secretary/Treasurer. For more information about election procedures, please refer to the lodge bylaws.

Founder's Award

The Wenasa Quenhotan Lodge Service Award is given once a year to one individual who has served on the Lodge Executive Committee, and has been an outstanding member by going above and beyond in their duties in the lodge. Click the link above to download the form. Please consider those who have lived up to the ideals of the Order of the Arrow in their daily lives and have and will remain active in the lodge.

The Founder's Award is bestowed once a year to TWO individuals (one youth, one adult). These individuals are recommended by lodge members. There are no specific requirements for being nominated to receive this award. Click the link above to download the form. When recommending lodge members, please choose those who have a history of living the ideals of the Order of the Arrow in their everyday life, have been and are currently active in the lodge, and whom you reasonably expect to remain active with the Lodge, so as to serve as shining examples of cheerful service and dedication to Scouting and the Order of the Arrow.

The Lodge Recognition Chairman will select a committee of members at Fall Conclave to select recipient for these awards based off of the recommendations submitted. The awards will then be presented at the Winter Banquet.
